We wanted number fifty to be extra special so we were planning a trip to New York City to taste one of the NY’s Best. But who wants to leave the beautiful Hudson Valley on the weekend, especially on a glorious weekend like the one we just had.
So here is Negroni #50! A very special cocktail named in honor of our Hudson Valley home.
The Gin: Citadelle Slow Distilled French Gin
The Vermouth: Cocchi Americano Bianco
The Amaro: We used a dry sherry, Lustau Amontillado Sherry
More: Citrus Ginger bitters, homemade by my friend Dani, frozen mango slice, Michele Chiarlo Nivole Moscato.
We wanted something to toast spring at our new home on our new terrace, our terrazzo, overlooking the Hudson River. The sparkling moscato was the perfect addition.
