This perfect white Negroni is the creation of Lauren Roggenkamp, the bar manager at The Bird & Bottle Inn in Garrison.

Salers Aperitif
Gentiane des Peres Chartreux
Cocchi Americana

Typically a white Negroni is made with Suze gentian liqueur which I find overpowering and makes the drink yellow not white.

This creation gets it right.

This place that has been around since 1761. Yes you are reading that right 265 years. In 2020 it was acquired, lovingly restored and reopened in April 2022 by Hudson Valley locals Marjorie Tar ter and Brendan McAlpine.
