We just could not wait to get our hands on this exciting new Negroni created by Kyle Francia in of all places Manilla. It was great but does not seem to be avaialble any longer. Fortunately there are many other options available today. Check in with your favorite local liquor store.
Kyle explains it is “Built around the philosophy of making the Negoni into an everyman’s drink and that simpler is always better” He created the country’s first bottled single-serve Negroni. “Its main function is to provide a simple cocktail for the uninitiated while still providing a great cocktail for those in the know to bring home (or around).”
He says “This is as classic as you’re going to get: herbal and bittersweet, a bit on the spirit-forward side in some of the earlier bottlings. If aged (around 3 months or more), it blends and mellows together, allowing slight floral notes to come out. The Negroni is great either neat or on the rocks, though we like to have ours with a nice rock and garnished with an orange peel. What you do with your bottle is up to you.”
